The mission:
Our mission is to bring community members with different background together by creating cultural awareness and participate in resourceful community building.
We intent to assist communities to take space and initiate dialogue, exchange information about culture, history, traditions and ad-hoc issues. We believe that cultural awareness contributes to better integration of different community members into the Dutch society and let them feel more seen and heard.
The foundation:
The foundation is named Stichting TogetherStrong and is a non-profit organisation based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Founders of the Foundation have been involved in community mobilisation and building participative community development activities for decades. However the idea of creating this new foundation was born in 2016. As a result, the foundation was established in 2020. The foundation is registered at the Chamber of Commerce and consists of board members, community members, donors and supporter.
The board consist of 3 members. Our community members and volunteers help the foundation with different ideas and with in-kind contribution.
